Nice Bike for the Price, July 20, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Diamondback Women 2012 Lux Mountain Bike (White) (Sports) This is the first bike I've owned in over 15 years. It arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. Assembly was simple. The only thing I had some trouble with was adjusting the derailleur since I've never had experience with it before. But eventually got it adjusted well enough.
The bike is very attractive and is fairly lightweight. I purchased it for $100 less than what the local sports stores were selling them at. That was an added bonus. Very happy with the deal. I'm only 5'0" tall, so I ordered the XS (13") and it fits perfectly.
It rides fine. Very smooth on pavement. Shifting is nice as well. The seat was somewhat uncomfortable. I would be sore for days after a 40 minute ride on dirt or pavement. I bought a gel seat cover for it and it's much better now. No more soreness.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
